This was there were chartered members in 1962, After 1962-the APO become a fraternity MLQ University-wide. Members from other school departments started to be initiated. All those who came aboard to APO after 1962 went thru the usual inititaion and ritual acceptance.
In MLQSEA APO 60's was comportable to or even worse than hazing in PMA. Many neophytes were hospitalized before we can say-we are APO'ans. This is why MU APO Leadership, brotherhood and service is at top among all APO chapters not only in the Philippines but globally.
